What refrigerant do new AC systems use in 2026?
As of 2025, federal regulations require new residential AC systems to use A2L refrigerants like R-454B or R-32 instead of the older R-410A. If you already have a working R-410A system, you don't need to replace it, we can continue to service, repair, and recharge it.
